The Only Nitrogen
Gas Process
Monarch's innovative CryogenesisTM motor cleaning
is, by far, the most efficient, safe, and reliable process in
the industry. In today's EPA regulated workplace, Cryogenesis
meets or beats every federal regulation. In a system developed
by NASA for cleaning satellites, CO2 pellets are
driven by nitrogen gas. The result: Cryogenesis eliminates toxic
chlorinated cleaners. This non-intrusive process eliminates
damage while keeping equipment dry. (Before and after results
are evident in the photograph to the right.)
Liquid Nitrogen Assures Dry Cleaning
Liquid nitrogen is the propellant perfected by Monarch, being
vaporized in the drive process to produce nitrogen gas.
The benefits are manifold. Nitrogen gas is ten times drier than
the best compressed air. Nitrogen gas is super clean while
compressed air contains contaminants and oil residue. Finally,
the nitrogen gas drive process allows dielectric testing immediately
after cleaning while other systems leave a residue on the windings
which may cause problems.
Superior Pressure Regulation
Nitrogen gas pressure can be regulated between 70-320psi. This
allows Cryogenesis operators to either clean aggressively or
reduce pressure for "frail" or damaged insulation. Compressed
air does not have this flexibility because its moisture content
freezes at low pressure, clogging the delivery system.
Trained Technicians Enhance Process
Although the Cryogenesis system is innovative, its operators
are key to Monarch's success. Each is an experienced motor
repair technician. Each has a minimum of ten years experience.
They understand large rotating apparatus, and respect the integrity
of the equipment as well as continuously inspect for mechanical
and electrical problems during the cleaning process.
Dramatic Performance After On-Site
Cleaning
Cryogenesis is utilized in the Monarch plant, but its most significant
use is on-site. First, Cryogenesis eliminates costly equipment
removal. Second, cleaning in most cases produces dramatic results
in motor or generator performance, shucking away materials which
contaminate insulation and plug air ducts. Utilizing state of
the art instrumentation, Monarch conducts before-and-after Meggers
(to 5,000 volts) and polarization index tests to document results.
On-Site Services Nationally and
Internationally
Monarch's on-site
services have been used nationally as well as internationally.
